A 43-year-old woman is in custody after she allegedly stabbed a 65-year-old man in the upper body on August 10, 2022.
The incident happened in the 800 block of Main Street. The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and did not require hospitalization.
Police say that the suspect stabbed the victim after he denied refused to give her a cigarette. The suspect then went home and caused a disturbance that required police to attend. She was placed under arrest for her alleged involvement in the stabbing.
Leslie Dale Comeault of Winnipeg has been charged for her alleged involvement with Assault with a Weapon.
