Woman accused of attacking four random people is facing assault charges

Winnipeg Police Service has arrested and charged a 30-year-old woman after she allegedly assaulted four random people in early May, 2023.

Police say on May 1, 2023, the suspect assaulted an 83-year-old woman without provocation near St. Anne’s Road and Worthington Avenue. The victim suffered minor injuries after being punched in the upper-body multiple times.

On May 2 a 28-year-old woman was punched repeatedly while at a transit stop on St. Mary Avenue. The suspect fled the scene and the victim sought medical attention before reporting the incident to police.

On May 4 a 36-year-old man was assaulted on a Winnipeg Transit bus, he was not injured. Soon afterwards the suspect assaulted a 39-year-old woman as she exited the bus. The woman was not injured. The suspect fled the area.

On June 2, 2023, police arrested the suspect at her home in the 200 block of Ferry Road.

Natalie Anne Alice Simkin has been charged for her alleged involvement with four counts of Assault.

She was detained in custody.
