Winter storm headed towards Manitoba bringing blizzard-like conditions to some areas

Heavy snow and high winds are expected across southern Manitoba on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, as a storm front is moving in from the west.

Snowfall warnings are in effect in a swath across the interlake with blizzard-like conditions expected in some areas. Selkirk will see close to 10 cm while Gimli and Hecla will get closer to 15 cm.

Winnipeg and the Red River Valley will get around 5 cm of snow but high winds will make visibility outside the city difficult. Be prepared to adjust your driving according to conditions.
