Winnipeg’s Guns and Gangs Unit make record $6.3 million drug bust

Two Alberta men are facing drug trafficking charges after Winnipeg Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit raided an apartment in the 800 block of Sterling Lyon Parkway.

Officers executed a search warrant on October 12, 2022, and seized more than $6.3 million in illegal drugs. The seizure included 63 kilos of meth, 3.4 ounces of fentanyl, 6.6 ounces of cocaine and two litres of GHB.

35-year-old Dennis Bobko and 47-year-old Bryan Arnold were charged for their alleged involvement with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2, Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and Possess Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000

Both of the accused were detained in custody.
