Winnipeg Police are investigating after a collision between a Winnipeg Transit bus and an SUV on Saturday night, September 25, 2021.

It happened around 11:40 pm in the intersection of Burrows Avenue and McGregor Street. Witnesses who were on the bus at the time of the collision tell News 4 that the driver of the bus had allegedly proceeded into the intersection on a red light.

The front end of the SUV suffered significant damage. The bumper from the SUV was embedded into the side of the bus.

No one on the bus was hurt in the collision but a passenger in the SUV was treated at the scene and transported to hospital in stable condition.
