Beginning Thursday October 1, 2020, the City of Winnipeg will begin assessing and collecting penalties and interest for late payments of various fees and fines.
Ambulate bills, parking tickets, water bills as well as other fees and fines will all be subject to the penalties and interest.
Unpaid property and business taxes are not subject to the penalties and interest until after November 30, 2020.
The City says that they are committed to offering assistance and flexibility for residents experiencing economic impacts as a result of COVID-19. Contact the City to discuss payment arrangements.
