Winnipeg Rowing Club is hosting an open house on Saturday June 3rd beginning at noon.
If you have ever been curious about the sport now is your chance to find out more about it.
Established in 1881 the Winnipeg Rowing Club has been in continuous operation since with brief closures during the two World Wars.
As a non-profit WRC is helps foster the sport among members in their young teens to their 80’s. Training is available for all skill levels in both competitive or recreational programs.
On Saturday you will be able to tour the facilities on the bank of the Red River. Rowing demonstrations, dockside rowing and the opportunity to check out the boats will all be available.
