Winnipeg Police are investigating a shooting early Friday morning, April 23, 2021, after getting reports of an injured male walking in and out of the road near SpenceStreet and Cumberland Avenue.
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service also responded and found the male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable.
Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit were able to locate a home in the 600 block of Spence Street where they believe the assault took place.
The investigation continues.
