Winnipeg police arrested and charged a 36-year-old female in connection to a stabbing at a residence in the 100 block of Lansdowne Avenue on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
At approximately 11:22 am responding officers located an adult male suffering from stab wounds. The officers immediately began providing emergency first aid. The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
The suspect was placed under arrest at the scene. Police believe that the incident was a result of domestic violence.
The accused has been charged for her alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon.
She was released on an undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code of Canada.
