The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating the death of a 35-year-old man whose body was discovered in a residence on Magnus Avenue.
Officers responded to a call regarding concerns for the well-being of a male at a home in the 500 block of Magnus Avenue at approximately 3:00 p.m. on February 25, 2025. North District General Patrol officers, with assistance from East and West District General Patrol, arrived at the scene and found the deceased adult male inside the residence.
The deceased has been identified as Matthew Robert Pelletier, 35, a former Winnipeg resident. An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
The Winnipeg Police Service’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. Family notifications have been made.
