Winnipeg police arrested a 26-year-old man on January 4th for voyeurism at a multi-use fitness facility in the Grant Park area.
According to a police report, a 10-year-old girl was using a private stall in the universal change room when an adult male suspect in the stall next to her used a cellphone to take pictures of her undressing. The child’s father witnessed the incident, alerted staff, and contacted the police.
Officers arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect, who was still on the premises. The victim was not physically injured.
The suspect, Colin Gauthier, 26, of Winnipeg, has been charged with voyeurism and released on a court order prohibiting contact with individuals under 16.
