Two suspects wanted for the killing of an adult male on October 31, 2022, in the 100 block of Johnson Avenue West were arrested in Edmonton, Alberta.
Police say that Toni Emma Ruddell, 23 and Christian Flett, 28 were wanted on Second Degree Murder charges in connection to the killing. On November 17, the Winnipeg Police Services requested help from the Edmonton Police Service after they believed the pair had fled to Edmonton. EPS subsequently arrested the suspects and on November 24, they were returned to Winnipeg.
Police have identified the victim as 47-year-old William Billy Markowski
