The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) in Vancouver intercepted a suspicious package in August 2024, destined for a Winnipeg address. The package’s contents prompted the CBSA to alert the Winnipeg Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit, initiating a thorough investigation.
On August 29, ICE investigators took custody of the package and discovered it contained a sex doll anatomically designed to resemble a pre-pubescent child. This alarming find led to the identification of a suspect, Jonathan Paul SIRSKI, a 45-year-old male from Winnipeg.
Further investigation revealed that between October 2023 and August 2024, SIRSKI had ordered several similar items. Armed with this information, ICE investigators obtained a search warrant for SIRSKI’s residence in Fort Richmond.
On September 4, the search warrant was executed, leading to the discovery of approximately 20 anatomically correct female dolls ranging from newborn to early teens. The dolls were accompanied by clothing and accessories, and some had been physically altered from their original state.
SIRSKI was arrested and charged with multiple offences, including:
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Importing, Distributing, Selling, or Possessing Child Pornography for Distribution or Sale
- Making, Printing, Publishing, or Possessing Child Pornography for Publication
He is currently detained in police custody as the investigation continues.
