Winnipeg Man Dies After Being Struck by Train in RM of Headingley

A 32-year-old Winnipeg man is dead after being struck by an eastbound train in the Rural Municipality of Headingley on Sunday night.

According to the RCMP, the incident occurred on March 2, 2025, at approximately 8:15 p.m. Officers, along with CN Police Service, EMS, and the local fire department, responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a train near the Hall Road crossing, off Wilkes Avenue.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found the man, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Headingley RCMP, along with the CN Police Service, continues to investigate.
