CRIME | WINNIPEG MAN BUSTED FOR POSING AS IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT

Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has charged a 56 year old Winnipeg man, Vladimir Bibilov, with fraud for acting as an unauthorized immigration consultant.

According to the CBSA the Bibilov allegedly acted as a paid consultant but he lacked the license to do so. That means that any money he collected from clients was done so fraudulently.

Between January 2009 and December 2015 the man misrepresented himself to foreign nationals with the promise to provide immigration services alleges the CBSA.

Scheduled to appear in court on Monday he faces three charges (102 counts) under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and one charge (34 counts) under the Criminal Code of Canada.
