The City of Winnipeg is extending the temporary patio registration program introduced in 2020 for the upcoming 2021 summer season.

Under the extended program registered eligible businesses will be allowed to operate under the summer temporary patio program from April 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021.

Businesses wanting to participate must submit a new registration form and processing fee. Those who currently have a temporary winter patio registration or who had a temporary patio registration in the summer of 2020 will have to reapply for the 2021 season.

According to the city website the processing fee for summer temporary patio registration is $500.
