About 45 minutes after it started the all clear was sounded and the airport began allowing everyone back inside. The lineup to clear security and enter the bording areas streached across the airport. Several departures were delayed and the airport is advising anyone travelling today to confirm their departure time.
This isn’t the first time the airport has been evacuated in the past year. In September 2017 the facility evacuated for a similar situation due to an unattended ‘suspicious bag’ in the departure area.
