Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to a single-family bungalow at 10:35 pm on October 22, 2021,in the 1600 block of William Avenue for the report of a fire.
When firefighters arrived they encountered smoke coming from the building and launched an offensive attack. The fire was declared under control at 11:01 pm.
Residents in the home were able to get themselves out of the building before emergency crews arrived. Four people were assessed by paramedics but did not require hospitalization. No other injuries were reported
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
