What’s open and closed on Canada Day

As Canada celebrates 154th year a number of businesses, government offices and services will be closed July 1 to celebrate.

CLOSED

All civic, provincial and federal offices are closed.

All Winnipeg libraries will be closed

Kildonan Place, Grant Park, St Vital and Garden City malls will be closed

Pacific 4R Winnipeg Depot and the Panet 4R Winnipeg Depot will be closed

Current public health orders restricts all museums and movie theatres to remain closed

OPEN

Most major grocery stores will be open with holiday hours

Most Winnipeg and Brandon Liquor Marts will be open with limited hours

Polo Park Mall and the Outlet Mall are open with limited hours

Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for residential customers

The Forks Market and Johnson Terminal will be open

The Assiniboine Park Zoo will be open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm

Restaurants and Patios can be open under current public health guidelines.

City of Winnipeg outdoor pools open

City, provincial and national parks open.

City golf courses open

Manitoba Public Health reminds Manitobans that physical distancing, mask and gathering size requirements will be in place during Canada Day.
