Easter long weekend is a time to gather up the kids, eat large amounts of food, argue with relatives, and search for multi-coloured eggs hidden by a magical rodent. It is also frustrating for some as most shopping is curtailed for most of the weekend.

Winnipeg Transit – Sunday Schedule on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Regular hours on Easter Monday
City Pools – All pools will be closed on Good Friday, except the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, which will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday regular hours, Sunday closes at 4pm. The Pan Am Pool and Cindy Klassen pool will be open Monday with reduced hours. All other pools will be closed.
Museums – The Canadian Museum for Human Rights and Assiniboine Park Zoo will be open all weekend. The Royal Aviation Museum will be closed Good Friday, open the rest of the weekend. The Manitoba Museum will be open Good Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Easter Monday.
Winnipeg Art Gallery – will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Oak Hammock Marsh – Easter egg hunt Friday to Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. each day. Participants look for 10 eggs hidden in the marsh.
Fort Whyte Alive – open from 10 am to 5 pm throughout the weekend.
