Municipal Relations Minister Jeff Wharton was given additional responsibilities when he was sworn in as Crown Services Minister on Thursday, September 26, 2019.
The role was left vacant when the former minister, Coleen Mayer, lost her seat to the NDP in the general election.
Wharton’s new role will oversee Manitoba Hydro, Manitoba Public Insurance, Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries as well as the Centennial Centre Corporation.
Wharton will continue as Municipal Relations Minister.
