Winnipeg Police are investigating a homicide after being called to a home for a wellbeing check.
On Saturday, September 22, 2018, officers found the body of a 40-year-old male in the home in the 300 block of Prichard Avenue.
Police say the man had been violently assaulted.
The victim has been identified as Jason Peter John James from Winnipeg.
