MTS Super-Spike is a combination of Western Canada’s biggest beach/outdoor volleyball tournament, mixed in with a two day outdoor concert series, all set in a festival atmosphere.   July 15 & 16

Location: Maple Grove Rugby Park

Price: $35 weekend pass


 

TERRY FOX: RUNNING TO THE HEART OF CANADA – The exhibit provides an in-depth look at Terry’s epic 143-day, 5,373-kilometre journey from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Thunder Bay, Ontario. It explores Canadians’ deep and abiding affection for Terry and examines his unique place in our collective memory.

Location: Manitoba Museum – July 14 to October 10th


 

Slide the City – Remember the glorious slip ‘n’ slides of your youth? Slide the City is that humble backyard vinyl’s big sister, all dressed up for an urban block party.  1,000 feet of slick inflated vinyl (the biggest of its kind!)  with live music, entertainment, and local vendors. 

When: July 16

Location: Adrenaline Adventures, 600 Caron Rd, Headingley

Price: $45 per person
