Winnipeg Police Service has released the results for week two of the 2021 Festive Checkstop Program.

385 vehicles stopped during a number check stops. Twenty drivers were charged for impairment. Officers conducted 98 roadside breath tests which resulted in 12 people being given immediate driving prohibitions.

Officers also issued 49 traffic tickets during the check stops.

Police will continue to be setting up check stops throughout the city during the holiday season.
