Winnipeg Police have arrested a 38-year-old man after they performed a spot check just after midnight on August 30, 2017.
The man was walking in the area of Flint Street and Notre Dame Avenue. After police stopped the man they learned that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was placed in custody.

Officers searched the backpack the man was carrying and discovered it contained weapons and drugs. Police found a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle, ammunition, a pellet handgun, methamphetamine, a crack pipe, digital scale, cell phones and cash.
Sterling Moyer Flett, from Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with a number of drug and weapon offences as well as violating probation orders
