Winnipeg Police have arrested a 28-year-old male after he allegedly robbed a person at gunpoint near Beverley Street and Sargent Avenue Wednesday afternoon, November 14, 2018.
Officers searched the suspect who they found in the area of the robbery and found an improvised firearm and a hatchet.
Danny Wawaskes Harper is facing a number of weapons-related charges for his alleged involvement but won’t face robbery charges because police say the victim was not cooperative with them and did not want to proceed with charges.
Harper was detained in custody
