Weapons charges laid after male threatened with a weapon

A 57-year-old Pukatawagan man is facing multiple charges after an incident at a home in the RM of Kelsey.

Police say that on November 15, 2021, a male was at the residence when he was threatened with a firearm by the accused.

Officers identified the suspect and arrested him without incident. A female in the residence was also taken into custody. Officers executed a search warrant at the home and seized a firearm.

Anthony Ross has been charge for his alleged involvement with:

  • Assault With a Weapon
  • Uttering Threats
  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm when Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Using a Firearm in the Commission of an Offence
  • Weapons Possession Contrary to Order

The 51-year-old female has been charged for her alleged involvement with Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.

RCMP continue to investigate.
