A 31-year-old male and a 32-year-old female are facing weapons charges after Brandon Police raided a home on Tuesday March 19, 2019.

Police were had conducted an investigation into several firearm offences which led to a search warrant being executed at a home on E. Fatheringham Drive in Brandon.

Brandon Police Tactical Unit was brought in due to the nature of the raid.

A search of the home netted police a long gun as well as several firearm parts.

The male suspect has been charged with unauthorized possession of firearms, possession of firearms contrary to a prohibition order, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, and breach of undertaking.

The female suspect was charged with unauthorized possession of firearms.
