When the roads reopen on Monday a number of changes to traffic flow will be in place.
Eastbound traffic will be forced to turn right onto Waverley as Taylor will no longer be a through street for eastbound traffic.
You will no longer be able to turn left at Taylor if you are driving northbound on Waverley Street.
If you are travelling southbound on Waverley between grant and Taylor you will no longer be permitted to turn left onto Taylor Avenue.
The city says that the detour and turn restrictions will be in place for the next two years while construction on the underpass is underway.
The completed proposed design of the underpass project can be seen below
