Wasagamack First Nation stabbing leads to two arrests

RCMP have two people in custody after a stabbing at a home in Wasagamack First Nation.

Police say it happened around 10:30 pm on April 15, 2022. A 34-year-old male was outside on a property when a male and female approached him and an argument started. The pair then assaulted the victim.

RCMP have arrested and charged Hannah Comber 33, and Robert Comber 34 for their allege involvement in the incident with Aggravated Assault and Assault with a Weapon. Robert also faces additional charges of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Uttering Threats.

RCMP continue to investigate.
