Winnipeg Police are looking for a third suspect in November 12, 2018, convenience store robbery.
Police say that a man walked into a Henderson Highway store just after 4:30 am wearing a disguise and armed with a weapon. He demanded and received an unknown quantity of cigarettes then fled the business into a waiting vehicle.
Adrian Harold Traverse, 32 from Winnipeg is wanted in connection to the early morning theft of cigarettes from the Henderson Highway business.
He is described as Indigenous, approximately 5’9″ in height and 180 lbs.
Two other suspects were captured shortly after the robbery after officers found the vehicle matching the description of the one used in the escape.
As officers approached one man lept from the vehicle and took off running. The suspect vehicle sped away. The 35-year-old suspect on foot was chased down by officers and arrested.
A short time later the vehicle was spotted again near Gilbert Street and Burrows Avenue. Although no one in was in the car at the time police followed footprints in the snow and placed a 22-year-old female under arrest.
Duane Steven Bonefant, a 35-year-old male of Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with Robbery, Disguise with Intent, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
Cheryln Maude Lambert, a 22-year-old female of Winnipeg has been charged for her alleged involvement with Robbery, Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Drive Without a Licence.
Police are looking for help in locating the third suspect in this case. Anyone with information on the location of Traverse is asked to call investigators at 204-986-6219.
