Police looking for drug trafficker

Winnipeg Police are looking for a 33-year-old male in connection to a raid on a Riverbend home on April 11,2019.

Police say that members of their Guns and Gangs Unit raided a home and executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Warrant. Officers seized a number of items including a kilo of cocaine, 9 pounds of a suspected cutting agent, 6.5 ounces of Cannabis, 28 grams of suspected Heroin, $114,000 in cash, $50,000 worth of jewellery, packaging materials. a vacuum sealer, money counter and scales.

All told the value of the seizures exceeded $230,000.

No arrested were made at the time of the search but on Thursday May 9, 2019 a 35-year-old male from Winnipeg turned himself in at the Winnipeg Police Service HQ.

He was charged with a number of drug trafficking related offences and released on a promise to appear.

Police are now looking for a second suspect related to the case.

WANTED – Richard Brass (Submitted / WPS)

33-year-old Richard Brass from Burnaby, British Columbia is wanted for drug trafficking and proceeds of property obtained by crime charges.

Hw is described as Indigenous in appearance, 5’8″ tall, weighing 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and hair. Brass may also have a tattoo of a dragon on his chest and a grim reaper and woman on his left upper arm.
