The lawyer for former CKY-TV (CTV Winnipeg) news director and Red River College journalism instructor, turned alleged bank robber, Steve Vogelsang wants psychiatric tests performed on his client.
Greg White appeared on behalf of Vogelsang in a Medicine Hat courtroom earlier today, June 21, 2018.

Vogelsang is accused of robbing two banks in Medicine Hat, three in Regina and one in Saskatoon last year. He was captured at a hotel in Medicine Hat in October 2017.
Although Vogelsang was granted bail for the charges in Alberta he was not so lucky in Saskatchewan and remains behind bars in Regina.
White asked the judge to revoke Vogelsang’s bail in Alberta in an effort to make it easier to transfer him between jurisdictions to attend court.
