RCMP have arrested a 31-year-old male from Canupawakpa Dakota First Nation in connection to the homicide of a 31-year-old Clarence Eastman Jr. also from Canupawakpa Dakota First Nation.
On Saturday, July 21, 2018, police responded to reports of a male in medical distress.
Police said at the time that the injuries of the victim were consistent with someone who had been in a fight.
The victim was taken to hospital but died of his injuries shortly afterwards.
Cassidy Eagle is facing Second Degree Murder charges for his alleged involvement.
