Pedestrian hit, sent to hospital
Taylor Avenue was blocked off to traffic in both directions Monday evening as police investigated a car pedestrian collision.
According to police on scene a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Taylor Avenue and Nathaniel Street.
It happened around 6:30 pm and police are expecting the area to be closed to traffic for several hours.
The condition of the pedestrian is not known at this time.
