Winnipeg Police Service has identified the victim in a homicide that happened Monday evening, January 17, 2022, in the 800 block of Main Street.
According to police, officers responded to an apartment for the report of suspicious circumstances around 7:15 pm. When the officers arrived they found a seriously injured male and provided emergency first aid.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition where he soon died from his injuries.
Homicide investigators have identified the victim as 36-year-old Joseph Matthew Myran of Winnipeg.
