Winnipeg police have identified the victim in Monday’s shooting near the intersection of Young Street and Balmoral Street.
Officers were called to the area around 3:45 pm and located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators have identified the victim as 29-year-old Kyle Anthony Braithwaite.
