Winnipeg Police have identified the victim in the Elgin Avenue homicide investigation.
Police were called to a suite in the 400 block of Elgin Avenue around 1:40 am on Saturday August 24, 2019 for the report of an unresponsive male.
When officers arrived they found the victim dead inside the suite.
Investigators have identified the male as 64-year-old John Graham Buesnel from Winnipeg.
Homicide detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information that could be helpful to them to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
