As News4 told you in the early morning hours of Saturday June 17, 2017 a house party in the 500 block turned violent and one woman was killed.
After noticing a group of people gathered in front of a home on Spence Street a passing police patrol unit stopped to investigate. The officers discovered 37 year old Marilyn Oshawee dead on the front porch.

28 year old Fenisha Peebles form Winnipeg has been arrested and charged with Manslaughter for her alleged involvement in the homicide.
She remains in custody.
