A 28-year-old female will be appearing in court after police found illegal drugs inside her vehicle after it left the Trans-Canada Highway and rolled.
Police say that around 3:15 pm on Wednesday February 16, 2022, they were called ti the scene of a single -vehicle collision in the RM of Portage la Prairie. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers searched the vehicle and found about 20 grams of individually packaged methamphetamine and fentanyl.
The driver was charged for her alleged involvement with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Police continue to investigate.
