RCMP in Powerview are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a 60-year-old woman on Saturday, September 5, 2020.
Police say that around 9:00 am they learned that a badly damaged vehicle was found in a pit at a construction site on Highway 11 just outside Powerview.
Investigators believe that sometime during the night the vehicle entered the construction site, rolled and collided with construction materials.
The sole person in the vehicle was declared dead at the scene.
RCMP continue to investigate.
