Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire inside a commercial building around 9;10 am Thursday morning, December 10, 2020, on Cottonwood Road.

As crews arrived on the scene they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the building. The vehicle fire had spread setting the building on fire.

A defensive attack was launched and soon transitioned to an offensive attack once it was safe for crews to enter the building. The fire was declared under control by 10:14 am.

People inside the building were able to safely evacuate the building and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire appears to have been accidental. Officials say that the building suffered significant damage due to the fire, smoke and water.
