Some residents in West St. Paul have to contend with no power after a vehicle collided with a pole earlier today, January 1, 2019.
Hydro says 817 customers were without power from about 1:00 pm and were anticipating it would be restored by 3:00 pm. Although power has returned to some residences hydro now says that it could be as late as 7:00 pm before everyone is back on.
Temperatures in the area are about -20c with wind chills making it feel like -33c
