Emergency crews were called to Osborne Street between Jessie and Mulvey Avenues after a car crashed into a bridge abutment late Saturday night, September 17, 2022.
When crews arrived shortly before midnight they found a vehicle with major damage to the front end that had apparently crashed into the centre barricade protecting the supports of the train bridge crossing Osborne Street.
Firefighters closed the northbound lanes of Osborne Street and diverted traffic into one of the southbound lanes
Although Traffic was diverted around the crash, several vehicles ignored the pylons and drove through the crash scene putting emergency workers at risk.
An adult female and an adult male were transported to hospital in unknown condition.
