Manitoba has announced the ten winners of $25,000 scholarships from the first Vax to win lottery.
“We are very proud of how Manitoba’s youth have stepped up to be vaccinated, for their decision to protect themselves, their families and their communities,” said dvanced Education, Skills and Immigration Minister Wayne Ewasko. “I’d like to congratulate them all, and wish them the best of luck in their lives and studies going forward. They have bright futures, and we are confident these scholarships will be put to great use.”
The winners will each receive a scholarship that will be held in trust until they choose their post-secondary education plans.
The winners are:
- Kaylee Keefe,
- Chelsea Thiessen,
- Bea Catalla,
- Kaden Rozdeba,
- Kayla Harper,
- Crosby Wright,
- Ella Curtaz,
- Jordyn Recksiedler,
- Emma Benoit, and
- Shaira Garcia.
The second Vax to Win Lottery will happen in September for those who have received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or before September 6, 2021.
