Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a blaze in a vacant bungalow in the first 100 block of McKenzie Street early Thursday morning.
When crews arrived on the scene shortly after 12:30 am they found smoke coming from the structure. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 12:52 am.
A search of the building after the fire was out found no one inside. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
