Heavy smoke was coming from the home when firefighters launched a defensive attack. On scene commanders deemed the structure unsafe for fire crews to go inside.

An aerial ladder was set up to douse the fire from above and protect neighbouring homes.

Crews remains on scene for several hours to deal with hotspots.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
