Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) were called to a building in the 400 block of William Avenue early Sunday morning, September 29, 2019.
Crews had to cut their way into the structure using a chainsaw then launched an offensive attack.
William Avenue was closed at Harriet Street for several hours while crews were on scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
