Winnipeg police have charged two youth involved in the vehicle collision at Redwood and McPhillips on May 23, 2016.
Accused #1, 16-years-old, arrested May 23, 2016
– Flight from Peace Officer
– Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Cause Bodily Harm x 3
– Possess Property Obtained by Crime
– Take Motor Vehicle without Owner’s Consent
– Drive Disqualified
– Fail to Remain at Accident and Exchange Particulars
Accused #2, 16-years-old, arrested May 24, 2016
– Possess Property Obtained by Crime
– Fail to Comply Undertaking x 3
Both accused have been detained in custody.
Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit (IIU) is also investigating this incident as it does with all incidents involving police either on or off duty.
