Winnipeg Police report that the area around Mayfair between River and Main Street has been reopened to traffic after a construction crew unearthed a round of ordnance.
Emergency crews responded around 11am to the 100 block of Mayfair Avenue.
The Winnipeg Police Bomb Unit was called out to dispose of the object.
